DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to the 2026 Annual Winter Camp at Mahai\, Royal Natal Reserve\, Northern Drakensberg. \nThis is a casual weekend for club members and friends to enjoy a usually spectacular winter stay in one of our premier Drakensberg Reserves.  (This is not a camp experience like the old July camps.  No amenities/catering/other facilities are provided.  The campsite facilities are great\, hot showers and flush loo’s and well maintained campsites.) \nBring your own everything for camping\, including food and braai food for both nights. \nMCSA KZN will host the fires for braais on both Friday and Saturday evenings. \nYou can find out more on the Ezemvelo website at this link:  Royal Natal(Thendele and Mahai) – Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife \nWe also have a Facebook page dedicated to the Winter Camp with other information about the facilities\, hiking and plans around the weekend. \nChildren are most welcome.  Parents\, please be responsible for your kids.  There is a waterway near the camp. \nThe campsites have electricity. \nCamping is R180 pppn \nVarious day-hikes are on offer from the camp\, or within short driving distance. \nPlease RSVP to Karen on kjmchiro@eject.co.za.  Please also send me your whatsapp number so I can add you to the winter camp group\, and we can communicate last minute plans or changes if necessary. \nClosing date for RSVP’s is 30.04.2026. \nPay your camp fees into the MCSA KZN Section account: \nBank: Standard Bank\nAccount: 051207141\nBranch: Universal (051001)\nSWIFT: SBZAZAJJ\nReference: ‘Full Name\, Winter Camp’.
